50′s Flash

Okay Kiddies,

Flashback to the nifty 50′s. Styles were hip and the girls had that flip. Today the kiddies just aren’t the same. Where is that pure essence that we lost in the not so distant past? This style is perfect for anyone, any size. It is classic to the teeth, and its not this boring mundane egotistical style we are sick of seeing today! Gents we have the Fonz style; similar to my previous post regarding the leather jacket. However there is the dress slacks and suit jacket that you can update to this era with a casual t-shirt. Make sure the “suit” it fit to your body type. Don’t forget those sweaters! Pair it with jeans and chucks or a nice loafer. Ladies, have you heard of the heart-breaker? It is a wonderful fit for every type. If you can find the right size it will hit your waist line like a glove. It will enhance that hour-glass shape we love to show. It hits perfect at the knee, so you won’t chop you off so to speak. You can dress it up or down with our many shoes in the world or even with a cute cardigan.

You can find these styles at your local thrift shop or online! Best yet and most inexpensive; make it yourself! Get the pattern and fabric and put your heart into your creation and see what wonders you can do! Don’t forget you can also modernize this look with the accessories of today and your hairstyles.
